Bag made with Cuir Marin de France
FéoniLab proposes to combine traditional leather with alternatives, through a unique project highlighting co-products of the sea: SeeSea
This initiative brings together several actors driven by the desire to present an innovative and eco-designed product:
•Fils&Fab: a Breton start-up specialising in the recovery of recycled materials from the sea, transforms fishing nets into material that can be reused in decoration.
•Cuirmarin: a tanner from Lyon dedicated to vegetable tanning and the natural colouring of fish skins. The strength of this partner is that it has developed natural pigments that respect the environment while guaranteeing unique finishes.
•Kyoko Création: an embroiderer and craftswoman who expresses her sensitivity through her subtle interpretation of the seabed.
The SeeSea project thus presents two models of bucket bags (one large and one small) eco-designed from these hybrid materials.
The latter crossbreed salmon leather (from skins recovered from the food industry) and technical materials such as fishing nets.
The result are these unique pieces, entirely handcrafted, delicate, inspired by the marine world and its treasures, and above all, proof that a more ethical and conscious fashion is possible.
